Love with 2 Ladies...

It was now 30 minutes that I was waiting in that showroom… with AC breezing at full speed on a Sunday Afternoon it was a perfect setup to go for an Afternoon Siesta; but hey I was there for more important stuff. Finally decided to speak (5th time) to the Lady who was in front of me and was continuously talking on Phone… Mam – “I am getting late?” and she started crying… Now no matter how many resources you have handled in project or defused crisis situations at work place – a crying lady is something a Man is never prepared to handle. Let’s accept it It’s not in our DNA… we don’t see logic in most of the reasons for which they Cry and they just wonder why we need to have a Logic at first place… So it’s a catch 22 situation you see. Coming back to the Sunday Crying Lady - I tried my best to calm her down and offer water which was kept for me but she just walked away… Now that’s not how a Customer Relationship officer is supposed to behave but then every day is not a Sunday you...

The Panic Handlers...

Hey Nitin – Did you saw that mail…? We should respond “ASAP in next 5 minutes”. Me – Okkkkkkk… Which mail? You have not checked your mails yet… (As if it’s a crime in India not to check mails as soon as they come)  Me – Ahhh my outlook is acting bit weird you see - Long Live MicrosoftJ. And when I finally got to know which mail s\he was referring to I didn’t found any reason why we need to respond ASAP in 5 Minutes… BTW either it’s ASAP or 5 min; till now no theory has proved that ASAP = 5 minutes. Again it depends who is asking; so if your wife is asking to do a household stuff it’s by default ASAP and you are supposed to leave everything aside - get up right away and start doing it…  If your colleague is asking who is in direct completion with you then you have lifetime to do that work may be in next life if you wish to ;). If your Boss is asking you to do it mean you are already Late and you should have already done it by official standards – Lazy Bum J We all...

Thank You Captain...

Thank you Captain… Saturday 18th January 2014 – a date I am not gonna forget easily.  OK – so day begin pretty early or should I say Night ended pretty soon when I departed from Pune at 2 AM for Mumbai; as I have to catch flight to Varanasi… It’s one of the shortest trip I was making to Varanasi – 24 hours and back (btw that’s the minimum one way travel time; if I would have taken service of Indian Railways’ - considering no delays in Foggy weather of North – Love Fog BTW- reminds me of some dear ones… ) Ok so at Terminal A1 awaiting Air India’s flight AI 695; not that great Terminal I would say as my mind was comparing it with “Exclusive T2 Terminal” pictures that every News channels was showing; just wonder every news channel has it and then also its “Exclusive”. Flight was on time though Information Board was lazy and showing it Delayed – may be effect of a Chilly morning; or it was miffed that why the board is not upgraded to T2 Terminal level ;) Boarded Flight; I a...

31st December 2014 – Happy Teachers Day!!

Yup you  read the headline correct… It’s not a Typo… Though headline shares its name with famous whisky brand but no am I not few pegs down ;) as you know I don’t drink. Hence Proved – Headline is correct!! So when whole world is in Party Mood and have already started the Pre-Bash prep why this geek is penning his thought on 31st December and that also with such funny headline – trying to be different? Naaa – I am already different in many ways (contact me in person for more details J ). I am penning this as a Return Gift to “Sweet 14”… Well 2 0 1 4 was a unique year for me… I believe I can proclaim this year as un-predicted and unplanned – almost all things didn’t went the way I planned itJ; now please don’t ask me to attend some Planning Trainings; I am not good at attending Classroom Trainings though always like to give one… ;) Coming back to “Sweet 14” aka 2014; it gave me many rich experiences and learning. Life was a Roller Costar ride in 2014 with many lows on p...

I failed and i am glad i did...

Dedicated to all Respected Ladies I know Generally i don’t write Blogs (Notes) now days... (Though I want to write more often)   in fact it’s rare now that i anything apart from writing business mails... Life is kind of dedicated to writing mails from outlook - Accenture account :) So why suddenly on a Chilly Monday morning i am writing this blog to all Ladies out there… Reason is simple - a realization; something which i always thought that i knew or understand it but i never did... what i knew was miles away from  reality... ok i know you are going crazy ki kyaa bol raha hai - so let’s come to point – 4 days back i.e. on Friday Morning Sheetal (my dear wife) has to go to Varanasi; and we took a decision that Shubh (my 6 old year son) will stay with me in Pune... Sheetal was bit skeptical if i will be able to manage and i always like a cool chap said - don't worry yar; i will manage i am capable of it and what not (Damn overconfidence!! ). Her flight l...

One year later… A twisty tale – Last Part!!

Really I am loss of words today… there is so much to write and then there is none… Seems pressure of putting it as Last Note of the series is dawning upon me... I want this note to be memorable and perfect but this pre-defined target is acting as hindrance to my thought pattern. So I will let it flow naturally without worrying much about the end result J it may be bit emotional on some fronts but it will be natural - the true way…Links to all first 7 parts are below for your reference... Date  – 30th April 2012 Scene  – Home Mind is an amazing evaluation tool; if you are facing a problem alone it flags it as Big Issue but moment you know there are others who have gone through the same issue it considers it less serious. By this time I came to know of others who have faced Bales Palsy – One of them was my Lead and dear Friend Anubhav who had it while he was in class 12th and recovered completely. Other was a colleague of my friend - Kshama and he also recovered in 2 mo...

One year later… A twisty tale - Part VII

Date  – 7th January  2012 –  9 AM IST Scene  – Pune Home Tale is coming to end very soon so ensure you read all previous posts – links below It was road to recovery from now on… a slow recovery – Nerve is one of the slowest body parts when it comes to healing. In a kind we have a similarity – Laziness; I and nerve take our own sweet time to improve :) I have a peculiar Habit to give Target to myself for every work I do no matter how small or big it is… it may be reaching to office at particular time or completing some work at particular date… it gives me something to look forward to; something to feel happy about once you achieve that task. Well it’s an altogether different thing that when Wife gives you a task you will not be able to meet the target as she wants it complete it the moment order is given ;) So my first target to recover from BAP was 31st Jan 2012 which was a super challenging and highly optimistic in itself but it gave me an enthusiastic ...
